St. Mary’s, is the Mother Church of Teesside, designed by the renowned Victorian Architect, Augustus Welby Pugin in the Early English Gothic Revival Style and opened on 7th July 1842.
Stockton-on-Tees is a large market town situated on the banks of the River Tees with a proud industrial heritage in steel making and ship building.
For 178 years, St. Mary’s Church has stood in her town centre location as a place of worship and we look forward to welcoming you into our Parish.
